Frequently asked questions
What does the included liability coverage actually cover? +
It meets Illinois's state-minimum liability requirements, covering injury or property damage you cause to others while driving. It does not cover damage to the leased vehicle itself — that's what the Full Coverage add-ons are for.
Can I add or change my coverage tier after I start leasing? +
Yes. You can move between Liability Only, Standard, and Plus at the start of any billing week — just let us know before your renewal.
Is there a mileage limit? +
Every lease starts with 1,000 miles per week included. Need more? Upgrade to 1,200 mi/wk (+$15/wk), 1,500 mi/wk (+$30/wk), or unlimited mileage (+$45/wk) — same add-on pricing across every vehicle. Pick your plan in the calculator in the Insurance & Pricing section above.
How much is the deposit, and do I get it back? +
Your deposit equals one week's rate for the vehicle you choose — for example, $299 for the Avalon. It's due at pickup along with your first week's payment (so $598 total for the Avalon at signing), and it's refunded when you return the vehicle in good condition.
Can I use an Auto Mania lease for rideshare or delivery apps? +
Yes — our vehicles are set up for gig and rideshare work. Bring your active or pending driver account when you come in.
Can I end my lease early? +
Leases have a 4-week minimum term. After that, you're week to week and can step away at the end of any week — just give us notice before your renewal date.
